Claims help
Need to file a claim?
Take a breath. We’ll walk you through it. The fastest path is usually call your carrier first, then call us so we can advocate on your behalf.
First-hour playbook
Whether it’s an auto accident, storm damage, or a stolen item, the first hour after the loss matters more than the next month. Do these things first:
- Safety first. Move out of traffic. Get medical help. Call 911 if anyone is hurt or there’s a fire or gas leak.
- Photograph everything. Wide shots, then close-ups. The other vehicle’s license plate and insurance card. The full scene before you touch a thing.
- Don’t admit fault at the scene. Be polite, exchange information, answer the officer’s questions honestly. Fault is sorted out later with evidence.
- Call your carrier’s claim line. Numbers are listed below. Have your policy number ready.
- Then call us at (855) WesleyK. We help you decide what to file, how to phrase it, and which adjuster questions need a careful answer.
- Save every receipt — medical co-pays, prescriptions, towing, rental car, hotel. These are reimbursable.
Carrier claim phone numbers
24/7 claim lines for the carriers we represent. Have your policy number ready.
Don’t see your carrier? Call us at (855) WesleyK and we’ll dial them with you on the line.
Why call us in addition to the carrier?
When you call your carrier directly, you’re talking to an adjuster whose job is to manage the carrier’s exposure. When you call us, you’re talking to an independent agent whose job is to advocate for you.
In a typical claim, we help you with:
- Translating adjuster jargon and explaining what each question really means
- Pushing back on lowball estimates and unreasonable depreciation
- Recommending vetted local contractors so you don’t fall for “storm chasers”
- Making sure additional-living-expense (ALE) and rental-reimbursement coverages get used
- Escalating to a supervisor or filing a state complaint if the carrier drags their feet
This service is free to you. It’s part of being our client.
Already filed a claim? Tell us about it.
Even if you’ve already called the carrier, let us know. We’ll track the claim and step in if you need help.
